About iO-Metal Fabrics

Starting off as a planning and design office in the early 1980’s, iO (Interdisciplinary Objects) soon recognized the extraordinary versatility and aesthetic qualities of woven metal wires. In 1993, iO joined forces with H&B, the largest European wire weaving specialist. A perfect partnership, which combines more than 110 years of expertise in manufacturing with innovative design concepts.

Today, iO offices in Germany and Australia focus on consulting, planning, and the application of new materials for architecture. In Australia, quality metal wire products for architecture and design are exclusively distributed by iO Metal Fabrics Pty. Ltd., Brisbane.
